Eleven review apps, every fact pulled from the app's own App Store listing, pricing page, or help docs on early June 2026. Picks are by store type, because "best" without a store attached is a meaningless word. Disclosure: we have a referral relationship with Okendo and none with the other ten apps here; as you'll see, that didn't decide any category.
The picks
Best for most stores: Judge.me (free; $15/month Awesome). A 5.0 rating across 40,246 reviews, unlimited requests and photo/video reviews on the free plan, no order caps ever, and confirmed support for Shopify's standard review metafields. The value benchmark the rest of this page is measured against. Full three-way comparison.
Best photo-first widgets: Loox ($14.99 to $299.99/month). 4.9 across 8,035 reviews. The most polished visual social proof in the category, with photo incentives native to the collection flow. Know the math: video and Google Shopping need the $49.99 Convert plan, which includes 300 orders a month and adds $50 per extra 300. Loox vs Judge.me head-to-head.
Best for reviews as a marketing program: Okendo (free to $299/month). 4.8 across 1,359 reviews. Attribute ratings (fit, quality, value) on every plan including free, two-way Shop app review sync, and a five-product suite (quizzes, referrals, surveys, loyalty) when you consolidate. Klaviyo integration sits on the $299 Power plan; budget for the tier you'll really use. Okendo vs Yotpo.
Best for enterprise retail syndication: Yotpo (free to custom Premium). 4.8 across 4,412 reviews. The Premium tier pushes reviews to Walmart and Target, which nothing else on this page does as directly. Be aware of the 2025 retrenchment (Subscriptions, Email, and SMS products all discontinued) and the contract-practice complaints in its critical reviews.
Best genuinely free: AG Product Reviews ($0, and there is no paid tier). 5.0 across 2,875 reviews. Unlimited collection, automated requests, and widgets at zero cost. Two caveats: the feature ceiling is fixed because there's nothing to upgrade to, and review its data-permission requests during install before you accept.
Best unlimited free review requests: Junip (free; $29 to $299/month). 4.9 across 1,050 reviews. The free plan's unlimited review request emails are unique among the paid-tier apps here; Google Shopping and TikTok Shop arrive on the $79 Growth plan.
Cheapest serious entry tiers: Fera ($9/month, no free plan, 60-day trial) and TrustWILL ($11.99/month, free plan available). Fera auto-imports verified reviews from Etsy, AliExpress, and Google; TrustWILL has the lowest paid entry on this page plus AI review summaries. Watch TrustWILL's $5 per 100 orders overage and Fera's per-tier photo storage caps.
Best import tooling for dropshipping: Opinew (free; $19 to $199/month). 4.5 across 595 reviews. One-click bulk import from AliExpress and eBay is its specialty. The free plan displays only 6 reviews per product.
Best dual product-plus-merchant reviews: REVIEWS.io (free; $19 to $45/month listed). 4.7 across 715 reviews. Collects company reviews alongside product reviews and offers Google Seller Ratings from the $19 Launch plan, the cheapest route to Seller Ratings here. The free plan's 25 invites a month is tight for any real volume.
The established mid-market option: Stamped ($23 to $199+/month, no free plan). 4.7 across 3,621 reviews. Reviews plus Q&A plus a loyalty module with a bundle discount. Video reviews sit high, on the $199 tier.

How to actually choose
- Start with volume honesty. Count your peak-month orders, then price each candidate at that number. Flat-priced apps (Judge.me) and order-tiered apps (Okendo, Yotpo) behave predictably; overage models (Loox, TrustWILL) need the worst-case math.
- Decide what reviews are for. Stars on a page: pick from the budget tier and move on. A conversion asset: Loox. A data and retention program: Okendo. A syndication channel into retail: Yotpo.
- Check the migration path before you commit. Most apps here document importers from the majors, so no choice is permanent, but verified-purchase badges don't always survive the trip.
- Make the data travel. Whichever app wins, its ratings should flow into structured data so they appear in search results and AI shopping answers, not just on your product page. The free AI readiness check tells you in a minute whether they do.
